Job summary

Maze Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Research Associate I, Compound Management to ensure researchers have access to high-quality compounds and samples, enabling discovery of new medicines. You will manage inventories, support sample workflows, and maintain efficient compound management operations across teams.

You will collaborate with Chemistry, Biology and cross-functional partners, troubleshoot instrumentation, and help scale workflows for high-throughput processing while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological or Chemical Sciences required.
• 3+ years of experience in small molecule compound handling and processing.
• Experience with laboratory automation and automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage weighing, storage, maintenance, and distribution of compound inventories.
• Operate automated laboratory equipment to support sample processing.
• Monitor compound request queue and fulfill requests promptly.
• Coordinate with Facilities for shipping/tracking of compounds locally and internationally to CROs.
• Perform sample QC checks and analyses.
• Procure, track, and process samples with R&D, vendors, and CROs for studies.
• Develop and implement workflows for high-throughput compound processing.
• Coordinate cross-departmentally for compound plating.
• Maintain lab consumable inventory.
