Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in Biological or Chemical Sciences with 3+ years of experience in small molecule compound handling and processing.
• Experience with laboratory automation, specifically liquid handling platforms like Tecan EVO, Labcyte ECHO or similar.
• Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of instrumentation platforms and automated integrated systems.
• Experience with optimizing compound processing workflows including knowledge and use of Mosaic is desired.
• Innate attention to detail, organization skills, ability to multi-task and work across initiatives simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to engage in cross-functional collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage the weighing, storage, maintenance, and distribution of compound inventories.
• Operate automated laboratory equipment to support sample processing.
• Monitor the compound request queue and fulfil requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate shipping/tracking of compounds locally and internationally to collaborating CROs.
• Routinely perform sample QC checks and analysis.
• Procure, track, and process samples with vendors and CROs for studies.
• Develop and implement workflows to support high-throughput compound processing.
• Coordinate cross-departmentally for compound plating.
• Maintain lab consumable inventory.
