Responsibilities include leading RCCA, optimizing machining processes, improving tooling and process controls, and supporting PFMEA, qualification, and ramp activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing/process engineering experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years manufacturing / process engineering experience
  • Experience in composites manufacturing is a plus
  • Strong background in conventional and non‑conventional machining is preferred
  • Demonstrated advanced problem‑solving and RCCA leadership

Responsibilities

  • Support daily manufacturing operations in a composites production environment
  • Lead technical problem solving and RCCA to drive permanent corrective actions
  • Optimize conventional and non‑conventional machining processes for quality, throughput, and repeatability
  • Improve tooling, fixturing, process flow, work instructions, and process controls
  • Partner with operations, quality, tooling, and engineering teams to improve producibility and readiness
  • Support qualification, validation, PFMEA, and production ramp activities
  • Coach team members and provide technical leadership across the organization

The Process Engineer impacts departmental operations through the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of composite production methods, with a focus on safe, repeatable, and efficient process performance.
