Job summary

DZYNE Technologies in Irvine, CA is hiring a Composite Technician for full-time employment in our composite shop. We train exceptional individuals for composite lamination and finish positions.

The role creates and modifies composite structures for use on manned and unmanned aircraft in accordance with DoD requirements. You will work with a team of engineers, perform hand lay-up, trimming, bonding, and assembly with attention to tolerances, blueprints and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years relevant work experience in composites
• Experience with wet-lay/hand lay-up of composite materials
• Experience with bonding and finishing of composite parts
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Ability to work extended hours when required

Responsibilities

• Perform hand lay-up of wet-lay composite materials
• Cut and trim composite parts to close tolerances
• Bond and fasten composite assemblies; prepare surfaces
• Work in a teamwork oriented environment
• Operate tools and inspect finished parts
