Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace in Orange City, IA is seeking a Production Team Member (Composite Technician) to assemble components by laying composites such as prepreg carbon fiber and fiberglass onto molds and to process parts through molding operations.

You will perform hand layup, trimming, vacuum-bagging, inspection, and related duties, with attention to specifications and quality. This full-time, non-exempt position offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Hand layup of advanced composite materials on designated tooling per work instructions and customer specifications.
• Performs trimming, vacuum-bagging, basic repair, material preparation, weighing, finishing, and molding operations.
• Inspection of in-process and finished product using hand measurement tools and other tests procedures.
• Record keeping of inspection results where required.
• Manage work orders and time calculations to ensure product quality and suggest improvements.
