Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Composite Technician III for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Poway, CA supporting advanced aerospace and defense manufacturing. This role is ideal for a highly skilled composite fabrication professional with hands‑on experience in lamination, layup, bonding, trimming, drilling, finishing, and precision assembly of complex aerospace structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently fabricate, assemble, repair, and finish advanced composite aerospace structures and assemblies.
• Perform composite layup, lamination, bonding, trimming, routing, drilling, sanding, masking, and finishing operations.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Install structural hardware, perform precision fit‑up, and use adhesives, bonding agents, fixtures, and tooling.
• Complete dimensional inspections, maintain quality records, and ensure work meets engineering tolerances.
• Partner with engineering, quality, and production leadership to support complex builds and continuous improvement efforts.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $31 per hour, with potential for more based on experience.
• Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
• Location: Poway, CA.
• Shift: 2nd shift, 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
• Multiple openings available.
