Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated seeks a Composite Technician I to manufacture prepregs for self-lubricating bearings under supervision. Initial training on day shift, then 2nd shift after transition, with duties in procedures, quality and safety.

You will perform resin mixing, fabric coating, and production machine monitoring while maintaining paperwork, using appropriate PPE, and ensuring a safe, clean environment. Training progresses to support higher levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and measurements.
• Ability to read and decipher specifications, work orders and MSDS.
• Detail oriented and mechanically inclined.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Ability to read/write and communicate clearly; analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is foundational in daily work.
• Mix resins, adhesives and coat fabrics as required.
• Set up and monitor production machinery per controls and procedures.
• Follow procedures and schedules using safe methods.
• Maintain cleanliness to control FOD and ensure quality.
• Prepare and complete production-related paperwork.
• Operate equipment such as forklift and hoist to move materials.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Support total quality assurance and health/safety compliance.
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervision.
