Qualifications

• 10+ years experience as a technician in prepreg composites manufacturing.
• Able to read and interpret layup books and process instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication to prevent recurring issues.
• High attention to detail and urgency to deliver quality parts.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work hands-on in production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain tooling: sand, polish, seal, release, and maintain molds.
• Lay up parts: place plies using templates or projection systems; apply release film and breather.
• Bag and cure: build vacuum bags, perform leak tests, run cure cycles.
• Demold and finish: remove cured parts, trim, bond assemblies, prepare bond lines.
• Drive improvements: provide feedback to engineering for process/design enhancements.
• Stay organized: document material usage and production data in internal systems.
