Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated in the United States seeks a Manufacturing Technician I for 2nd shift to process components through the liner process. You will support production by setting up and operating machinery, reading drawings, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include completing production logs, performing maintenance checks, and following internal quality systems.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must follow detailed instructions, do accurate work at a rapid pace and meet scheduling deadlines.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks quickly and methodically.
• Available to work overtime as required.
• Work on feet for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the foundation of daily work through vigilance and accountability.
• Responsible for setting up and operating machinery in support of the production process.
• Performs operations per specifications on drawing/print and documented procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and machines.
• Read blueprints/engineering drawings and apply quality control principles.
• Complete daily production logs and required equipment maintenance checks.
• Comply with internal quality systems and procedures.
