L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Composite Manufacturing Technician to join our state‑of‑the‑art Advanced Manufacturing Facility (AMF) North in Huntsville, AL, specializing in inert manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly of rocket motor hardware.

This role supports development, troubleshooting, and process improvements while coordinating with maintenance and engineers. The position runs on a 1st shift 4/10 schedule, requiring safety, quality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce parts and assemblies using composite fabrication and associated processes.
• Prepare components for lay-up, cure, and post-cure using materials.
• Operate ovens, autoclaves and CNC equipment as required.
• Perform vacuum bagging and curing of composite parts.
• Build tooling and assemble sub-assemblies.
• Support maintenance and safety initiatives on the shop floor.
• Obtain a US security clearance if required.
