Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Composite Manufacturing Technician to join our AMF North in Huntsville, AL. The role involves producing composite parts and assemblies using fabrication, cure, and test processes, with emphasis on safety and quality under detailed instructions.

The position requires operating a range of equipment including ovens, autoclaves, CNC lathes and milling centers, and providing development support as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a High school Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce parts, components and final assemblies using composite fabrication and related processes.
• Operate ovens, autoclaves, CNC lathes/milling centers and other shop equipment.
• Perform vacuum bagging and curing of composite parts.
• Assemble sub-assemblies and conduct quality checks per work instructions.
