Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking Composite Technicians I‑Senior for its Middle River, MD facility to build and assemble composite components for the Neutron launch vehicle.

Positions range from Technician I to Senior, offering a path across levels with increasing responsibilities and hands-on manufacturing experience in aerospace environments. Base pay ranges are provided with comprehensive benefits and potential equity.

Qualifications

• Experience in composite production, military equipment maintenance, or mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience using various hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble structures including setup, bonding and fastener applications.
• Laminate assemblies by determining proper placement of composite materials.
• Prepare parts for bagging with bleeders, thermocouples, probes and vacuum connections.
• Vacuum bag processing, bonding, and oven/autoclave curing.
• Make basic layouts on parts to establish reference points and check dimensions.
• Fit Honeycomb, foam and syntactic core.
• Fit and refurbish thermal protection systems.
• Integrate mechanical hardware.
• Perform other standard composite and integration building techniques as needed.
• May work on other Rocket Lab products in local area or travel as required.
