Job summary

Rocket Lab USA in Middle River, MD seeks Mechanical Technicians at multiple experience levels to join our Space Structures Complex. You will build and assemble components used in Neutron launch vehicle structures, work on a high-caliber cross-functional team, and help bring hardware from concept to flight.

Positions available at Technician I–Senior. Requirements include hands-on mechanical assembly, familiarity with hand, power, pneumatic, and inspection tools, plus a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly, technical repair, mechanical maintenance or similar in a highly regulated manufacturing or maintenance environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with hand, power, pneumatic, and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Work on a high caliber cross functional team.
• Building mechanical structures and related components.
• Watch the hardware you build evolve into a completed Rocket and go to space.
• Uphold shop cleanliness and organization.
• Utilize Proper PPE.
• Integration of Mechanical Hardware.
