Job summary

United Launch Alliance seeks a Composite Strength Analyst to perform analysis of composite and metallic structures, develop FEMs and hand calculations, and provide strength inputs for new designs. You will review layouts and drawings, document results, and support design reviews in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and at least 2 years of experience, with proficiency in FEA tools and cross-functional collaboration within a U.S. ITAR environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from an accredited college.

Responsibilities

• Analyze composite structures and metallic elements to support operations, nonconformance resolution and development programs.
• Create FEMs, perform hand calculations, and provide strength inputs and recommendations for new designs and modifications.
• Review 3-D layouts, models, designs and drawings; support design reviews and nonconformance resolution.
• Document analysis results in strength reports and support cross-functional teams.
