Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with 4+ years manufacturing experience; graduate degree with 6+ years; no degree requires 8+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Champion process improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Support and lead facility transition efforts for inert product lines.
• Plan, develop, initiate and maintain processes for fabrication of advanced composite parts.
• Create detailed work instructions, procedures, PFMEAs, and JSAs meeting design, process, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to shop floor, design and management teams.
• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to develop robust part and tooling designs.
• Interface with related support groups to ensure accuracy, control and safety of personnel and hardware.
• Perform investigations of nonconforming hardware and implement corrective actions.
• Present fabrication processes at customer readiness reviews and change board meetings.
• Travel up to 5% may be required; occasional off-shift and weekend work.
