Job summary

Fillauer Companies, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Composite Layup area to lead daily operations, ensure safety, quality and on-time production, and drive continuous improvement.

The role collaborates with Engineering, Quality, and Logistics, supervises ply kitting, layup, and curing teams, and requires strong communication, problem solving, and a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or production.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery and workflow issues.
• Knowledge of safety practices and quality control standards.
• Valid driver’s license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily layup, kitting, and curing activities.
• Monitor workflow and adjust staffing, materials, or resources to meet targets.
• Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records, metrics, and KPIs.
• Ensure safety compliance and company policies.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to resolve defects.
• Lead daily huddles and monthly department meetings.
• Oversee timekeeping and attendance per policy.
• Participate in hiring decisions and team development.
