Northrop Grumman is hiring a Composite Bonder for our Clearfield, UT site on the B-Shift (Mon-Thurs, 4pm-2:30am). You will bond composite assemblies, read blueprints, and verify quality under stringent procedures.

The role requires 4+ years in structures/composites, the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance. External candidates and non-current NG bonders at Clearfield are encouraged to apply.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of structures/composites experience in aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing or maintenance.
• Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work (lifting up to 35 pounds, bending, kneeling, working at heights).
• Must obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret level clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must complete ASTAR New Hire Training/Compliance within required time.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.

Mansioni

• Read and understand blueprints.
• Lay out articles, cut parts or materials to size and apply bonding agents.
• Understand ply orientations and vacuum bagging processes.
• Operate autoclave, hydraulic presses and ovens to complete bonding cycle.
• Control heat, pressure and timing according to material specs.
• Sand, burs and smooth areas; apply sealing resins to edges.
• Complete repairs on bonded products using inspection and rework instructions.
• Monitor and verify quality of finished product.
