Qualifikationen

• Previous repair experience and completion of repair courses to meet U-Haul standards.
• Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Knowledge of transmissions, axles, water pumps, steering pumps, alternators, starters, surge brake units and related components.

• Tear down and rebuild component parts for trucks following U-Haul standards.
• Identify failed parts and determine if repair or replacement is needed.
• Compare worn parts to reusable parts to minimize repair costs.
• Operate hand and power tools, micrometers and related equipment safely.
• Read technical manuals and train less experienced staff as needed.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in the work area and report incidents.
