Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is hiring a Repair Specialist to maintain our fleet of trucks and trailers. You will diagnose issues, repair equipment to U-Haul standards, and manage parts inventory while working with minimal supervision.

The role includes training through our Technician programs and opportunities for advancement. Pay is $19.00–$21.00 hourly with full benefits and potential career growth within a large, well-known moving equipment leader.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision and independently manage repairs.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and inspection procedures.
• Strong understanding of automotive and trailer mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment following U-Haul standards using proper tools.
• Perform work in a timely manner to meet schedule.
• Identify causes of operating errors and determine corrective actions.
• Continue U-Haul equipment education to stay current.
• Plan an effective route to repair or schedule repairs in the assigned area.
• Maintain inventory of repair parts and ensure proper charging.
