Job summary

Valcor Engineering Corporation in New Jersey seeks a mechanical engineer to design and develop valve products, create prototypes, and validate concepts under the Engineering Manager's guidance, aligning with strategic plans. You will collaborate with manufacturing, QA, production, vendors, and contractors, visit customer sites as needed, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, plus ANSYS or MATLAB, is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop prototype models and methods to validate design concepts.
• Collaborate with team members to validate designs and recommend changes.
• Support manufacturing, QA, and suppliers to improve product quality.
• Visit customer sites to validate design specifications and address issues.
• Prepare time reports and attend customer calls as needed.
