Job summary

Scott & Associates, P.C. is seeking a Compliance Supervisor to support the compliance manager and supervise staff in a fast-paced debt-collection environment. The role ensures adherence to laws, regulations, and client standards.

Responsibilities include preparing detailed reports on complaints, identifying training needs, handling escalated issues, tracking trends, and ensuring quality and compliance across the team. Benefits include medical/dental/vision and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ complaint review or call quality assurance experience with at least one year in a supervisory or management role.
• Debt collection industry knowledge.
• Ability to analyze complex information, identify areas of opportunity, and recommend solutions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed reports analyzing reportable complaints by client or batch, including root causes and remediation plans.
• Identify SOP gaps or training opportunities and advise the Compliance Manager and Compliance Attorney.
• Handle complex or escalated customer complaints when needed.
• Track complaint trends and coordinate with management to address avoidable issues.
• Oversee complaint reviews to ensure compliance procedures are followed.
• Assist in hiring, training, and growth of team members; monitor performance and quality.
• All other duties as assigned by the Compliance Manager or Compliance Attorney.
