What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the implementation and operations of the Organizational Integrity and Compliance Program focused on patient privacy
- Provide guidance on patient privacy rules and regulations
- Conduct investigations on allegations related to privacy and HIPAA, involving potentially difficult conversations
- Collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer and management team to develop compliance program strategies and policies
- Maintain system-wide procedures, plans, and processes related to patient privacy compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in healthcare, business, health information, social work, nursing, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience
- Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar designation required (or to be obtained within 4 years of hire)
- Experience with rules and regulations related to patient privacy
