Job Summary
The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring compliance of activities including Speaker Programs, Advisory Boards, in person and virtual speaker training meetings, and satellite symposia across multiple clients, providing compliance guidance to internal and client contacts, assisting with post-program reconciliation, and supporting the Compliance team with special projects, staff training, and new client onboarding. With the support of the Compliance management team, this individual will also be provided with opportunities to:
- Partner with other key functional areas as needed, including Speaker Bureau, Meetings, Accounts, Technology, Finance, and members of senior management
- Assist with the implementation and enhancement of compliance-focused processes
- Support the growth and success of the overall Woven Health Collective team
Job Responsibilities And Skills
- Monitor meetings and speaker program compliance across multiple client accounts
- Review post-event attendee data and documentation and provide clear direction to internal or client stakeholders
- Serve as a trusted compliance advisor for internal staff and client field contacts
- Verify accuracy of speaker payments and facilitate payment submissions
- Review and process attendee/faculty reimbursements according to compliance regulations
- Review and reconcile event attendee lists and sign-in sheets
- Assist in management of event-related trackers, databases, and documentation
- Support event reconciliation, review, and transparency reporting according to client compliance regulations and regulatory guidelines
- Manage system updates of approved client materials and speaker bureau training completed
- Assist in regular audits to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of relevant experience OR 5+ years of relevant experience
- 2+ years of compliance experience
- Experience with pharmaceutical meetings, including speaker programs, preferred
- Knowledge of Speaker Program rules and regulations of the OIG, DOJ, and PhRMA Code
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- General tech-savviness and confident using compliance and meeting technology platforms
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on multiple priorities concurrently
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
- Skilled at critical-thinking and problem-solving
- Ability to interact with various levels of management, staff, and clients with emphasis on stellar client service
