Job summary

Dollar Bank is seeking an entry-level Compliance Specialist to support the bank's second line of defense through quality control reviews and core compliance oversight activities.

The role requires attention to detail, a will to learn regulatory frameworks, and growth in risk management and compliance analysis. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with prior banking or compliance exposure valued.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a financial institution as a paralegal, auditor, risk/compliance specialist or in an operations role.
• Demonstrated ability to review data, documentation, or workflows for accuracy and regulatory alignment.
• Ability to work independently and to prioritize projects.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to learn tools and processes for data extraction and quality control testing.
• Comfort learning new systems and workflows and adapting to regulatory priorities.
• Collaborative mindset and interest in risk-aware decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Execute quality control reviews to support second line of defense.
• Collaborate with business lines to evaluate processes and test regulatory adherence.
• Develop, implement, and update quality control procedures for compliance matters.
• Assist in responses to compliance audits and examinations.
• Report testing results to the Compliance Committee as directed by the Chief Compliance Officer.
• Conduct research on compliance issues.
