Job summary

Dollar Bank is seeking an entry-level Compliance Specialist to support the bank's second line of defense through quality control reviews and core compliance oversight. The role collaborates with business units to test regulatory adherence, identify improvements, and grow skills in risk management.

The position is hybrid, requiring strong attention to detail, regulatory understanding, and proficient Excel usage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a financial institution in a paralegal, auditor, risk/compliance, or operations role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures with accuracy and consistency.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and update compliance quality control processes and testing.
• Assist operational departments with responses to compliance audits and examinations.
• Report to the Compliance Committee on periodic quality control testing and reviews.
• Perform research pertaining to compliance issues.
• Assist in drafting and implementing quality control procedures for compliance matters.
• Assist in other tasks as directed by the Chief Compliance Officer.
• Understand and monitor risk per Dollar Bank's risk management program.
