Job summary

First Command is seeking a Compliance Quality Control Analyst II to support its consumer compliance monitoring program. The role tests controls across regulations, collects data, and documents work papers for senior leadership review.

You will obtain and review bank records, draft reports, and collaborate with the Compliance team to determine root causes and remediation steps. Strong Excel/SQL skills and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years banking experience required, with experience within a Banking Compliance team highly preferred.
• At least 3 years experience in a dedicated testing function (e.g. Quality Assurance or Quality Control, Internal or external Audit) required, with exposure to consumer banking regulations highly preferred.
• Banking software experience with listed tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Compliance Quality Control Analyst and VP, Fiduciary and Compliance QC to execute the Bank’s Quality Control Compliance Program.
• Conduct ongoing quality control testing related to consumer banking regulations (e.g. BSA/OFAC, FDCPA, etc.).
• Obtain transactional or other data from various bank systems for sampling and detail review.
• Document work performed and draft testing reports in line with internal procedures.
• Collaborate with Compliance team to determine root causes and follow-up actions.
• Support data collection for regulatory filings and risk assessments as needed.
• Attend the Bank’s Compliance Committee and assist with audits and projects.
