Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee firm-wide collection activities, ensuring FDCPA compliance, client work standards, and internal policies are followed.

You will establish monitoring schedules, audit activities, and develop scorecards while identifying training needs and reporting findings to management. Collaboration with clients and internal teams is essential to drive quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3 years relevant collection experience and understanding of the legal process.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external clients for information sharing and gathering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of applicable federal regulations.
• Typing a minimum of 35 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Establishes schedule for monitoring collection calls.
• Audits unit activities to ensure client standards and FDCPA compliance.
• Develops scorecards to document caller activities.
• Identifies training needs and refers for follow-up.
• Prepares routine reports for management.
• Provides quality monitoring feedback to clients.
• Keeps abreast of regulatory changes affecting collections.
• Attends group monitoring sessions with clients.
• Completes required training and professional development.
• Performs special projects as needed.
