Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking a Compliance Manager/Sr. Manager to own the full lifecycle of regulatory compliance across 20+ campuses in the United States. You will manage licensure applications, renewals, and ETPL status while coordinating with the Senior Director and Legal Counsel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in institutional compliance, regulatory filings, or administrative compliance operations.
• Proven track record managing a compliance program.
• Independent management of complex regulatory filings and renewals.
• Data collection, organization, and regulatory data analysis with high quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft tools; capable of detailed documentation.
• Experience with state licensing boards and audits.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to balance multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lifecycle ownership of licensure applications across markets.
• Conduct regulatory research aligning with laws at all levels.
• Track licensure renewals and ETPL status; monitor timelines.
• Enter and maintain data in Salesforce with accuracy.
• Map processes and document applications and renewals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather required documents.
• Interface with licensing boards to follow up on status.
• Maintain confidentiality and information security.
• Attend meetings and serve as compliance subject matter expert.
• Co-Lead Compliance Office Hour and internal trainings.
• Assist with project planning and leadership of initiatives.
