Job description

Minimum qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, program management, or consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Familiarity with industry-accepted compliance policies and frameworks.
  2. Understanding of compliance program management principles, risk assessment methodologies, and internal control frameworks.
  3. Ability to analyze business processes, identify risks and dependencies, and propose solutions.
  4. Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams, executive management, and regulators.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to write, edit, and collaborate effectively, including emails, documentation, and slide presentations.

Role overview:

We partner closely with Google's central Legal, Policy, and Compliance teams on key initiatives and manage significant scaled vendor operations supporting critical compliance workflows, especially for the Ads business. We develop risk management programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risks. The Compliance team ensures that gTech navigates the complex regulatory landscape.

Compensation:

The US base salary range for this full-time role is $110,000-$157,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by skills, experience, and education. More details will be shared during the hiring process. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage compliance projects and processes, including planning, execution, monitoring, coordinating timelines, and driving outcomes.
  2. Identify program deficiencies, assess gaps, design controls, and report findings to stakeholders and leadership.
  3. Provide expertise for scaled compliance workflows, monitor performance, suggest enhancements, and implement improvements.
  4. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, aligning stakeholders and adapting to changes.
  5. Develop training materials, deliver training, challenge the status quo, and solve problems to enhance compliance effectiveness.
