Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred; equivalent work experience if no degree.
• 3+ years of tax compliance experience preferred.
• 1+ year of management/supervisor experience preferred.
• Proficiency withMicrosoft Office and external software applications.
• Strong communication and people skills; able to lead a team.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines.
• Regular, predictable attendance and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, guidance, and performance oversight to support team effectiveness.
• Monitor workloads and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
• Ensure consistent execution of reporting, filing, and billing processes.
• Manage exceptions, resolve issues, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Analyze operational data to identify errors and gaps.
• Oversee tax compliance activities including various tax types; ensure accuracy.
• Develop and track KPIs to monitor accuracy and efficiency.
• Implement workflow improvements to reduce risk.
• Oversee customer billing processes and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures.
• Support audits and drive process enhancements.
• Support projects to improve operational performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
