Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years income tax experience in public accounting or large multinational environment.
• Strong experience with partnership taxation, federal and state income tax compliance, audits/controversy.
• CPA certification or active candidate preferred.
• Ability to translate complex tax concepts to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead all aspects of partnership tax compliance, including preparation, review, allocation methodologies, partner reporting, and coordination with external advisors; internal SME
• Research and develop tax positions on complex income tax matters, document conclusions, and communicate results to stakeholders
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize effective tax rate and cash taxes, and evaluate impact of business transactions and legislative changes
• Own and manage tax audits and controversy, including defending positions and coordination of responses
• Manage tax forecasting and business initiatives with Finance and cross-functional teams to provide insights on tax impacts
• Provide tax accounting support, including ASC 740 provision assistance and review of tax-related GL accounts
• Support management on special tax projects as needed
