Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a detail‑oriented analyst who will be the frontline resource for customer inquiries on general legalization, operating tax requirements, and related regulatory issues at the Reading, PA campus.

You will perform data analytics to identify opportunities, support compliance with IRP/IFTA, and collaborate across departments to ensure accurate filings and responsive service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3 years of customer service experience required.
• 2 years in a Legalization role or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of Operational Tax, IRP, IFTA preferred.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
• Knowledge of AS400 preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to network professionally.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Willingness to travel, schedule adherence, background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis on customer operating tax accounts and tax returns to identify areas of improvement and communicate to customer.
• Provide assistance to customers with questions regarding operating tax filings and required authorities to ensure timely information.
• Guide customers on legalization requirements including IRP and IFTA to ensure compliance and positive customer experience.
• Support Supervisor with basic data analytics and process controls to monitor performance.
• Maintain awareness of required legal operating authorities and update credentialing requirements as needed.
• Drive customer compliance with record-keeping and mandated legal submissions.
• Handle other projects as assigned by the supervisor.
