Job summary

Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. is seeking a Compliance Manager to provide strategic oversight of a growing portfolio of affordable housing communities.

The role supports the Senior Compliance Specialist Floating to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risk across LIHTC and HUD programs. The position requires leading a team, developing training materials, and collaborating with operations, IT, and regional leaders to optimize compliance workflows while maintaining strong industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in government, business, policy development, or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of LIHTC and HUD regulations and IRS 8823 guidelines.
• Experience leading a team and delivering training materials (in-person, webinars, videos).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a meticulous tracking system for programs, certifications, and renewal dates.
• Review monthly reports to identify potential non-compliance, especially Section 8 terminations.
• Develop action plans to bring properties back into compliance quickly.
• Monitor voucher discrepancies and program certifications to minimize monetary impact.
• Oversee current and retroactive payments to maximize revenue while staying within regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with Regions and VPs to ensure timely certification processing.
• Provide training and onboarding to Sr. Compliance Specialist Floating and new hires.
• Support the centralization of certifications pilot at Edgewood Campus and organization-wide rollout.
• Engage with industry groups to stay updated on trends and best practices.
