Job summary

SEMI in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Compliance & Public Policy to lead federal and state policy engagement and internal governance. You will partner with Legal, Finance and Communications to ensure rigorous, transparent compliance across advocacy activities.

This role requires 7+ years in policy or advocacy compliance, a relevant degree, and the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable guidance for staff and members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, law, or related field required.
• 7+ years of policy or advocacy compliance experience.
• JD preferred with global policy & regulatory compliance exposure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local lobbying, ethics, disclosure, and reporting requirements.
• Advise on permissible advocacy activities and compliance risks.
• Design and maintain internal policies for advocacy activities and global trade show compliance.
• Partner with Federal Affairs, Legal, Finance, and Communications.
• Develop and deliver compliance training and guidance materials.
