Horizon Federal Credit Union in Williamsport, PA, is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead the compliance program across lending, accounts, marketing, and operations. The role reports to the Compliance department and requires strong leadership and regulatory expertise.

The position emphasizes proactive risk management, staff development, and collaboration with senior management to ensure adherence to federal and state laws. Occasional travel and flexible scheduling may be required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university; or comparable work experience.
• Minimum two years’ progressive leadership in a financial institution.
• Thorough understanding of credit union products, services, policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Serves as ambassador of Horizon brand, upholding mission, vision and values.
• Develops and oversees a comprehensive compliance management program across lending, accounts, marketing, and operations.
• Conducts compliance risk assessments, monitoring, and testing; creates corrective action plans with management.
• Ensures operational integrity and adherence to all policies and procedures.
• Sets and monitors department objectives aligned with the credit union’s strategic plan.
• Leads and develops direct reports to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Keeps current on regulatory changes impacting operations, marketing, and product compliance.
• Manages vendor risk and the horizon’s vendor management program.
• Oversees audits, exams, and corrective actions to reduce recurring issues.
