Job summary

University of Hawaii FCU is seeking a Compliance Officer to design, administer, and monitor programs ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. You will educate staff and management on compliance responsibilities and report on risk exposure.

Responsibilities include training, policy development, and coordinating with auditors and examiners to support the credit union's strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of financial institution regulations.
• Experience in writing policies, manuals and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develops and implements ongoing compliance training programs.
• Assists with Bank Secrecy Act and Red Flags Program.
• Interprets and disseminates regulatory information in a timely manner.
• Ensures forms and disclosures comply with NCUA rules and regulations.
• Creates and maintains a comprehensive compliance program.
