Job summary

June Point Lending, NYC-based fintech, is seeking its first dedicated Compliance Manager. You will own the regulatory backbone across state and federal compliance, licensing, vendor oversight, and corporate reporting as the company expands into consumer lending.

This hands-on role requires building processes from scratch, partnering with sales, credit and operations, and delivering timely compliance programs while balancing startup speed with regulatory rigor.

Qualifications

• Broad compliance experience within mortgage lender, mortgage broker, or real estate company.
• Working knowledge of state and federal mortgage regulatory requirements.
• Startup mindset with ability to build processes from scratch.
• Ability to make sound compliance calls independently.
• Clear collaboration across sales, credit, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Support product expansion into new loan products and licenses.
• Ensure policies meet state and federal regulations.
• Manage vendor and broker approvals including due diligence.
• Prepare and file corporate compliance reporting and mortgage call reports.
• Draft and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
