Dallas Independent School District is seeking a Compliance Coordinator (226 Days) Anticipated to support the Professional Standards Office. The role focuses on front-end investigations related to employee misconduct and requires tracking to closure, data analytics, and coordination with principals and district departments.

The position demands strong writing, confidentiality, and knowledge of district systems such as Oracle, Power School, and My Data Portal to fact-find and report findings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct front end investigative work concerning employee misconduct allegations that come to the Professional Standards Office and prepare the information for entry into the District’s Critical Incident Reporting System.
• The investigative work must be completed effectively and efficiently and must be tracked to ensure each Hotline Entry that alleges Employee Misconduct has been addressed.
• Develop and Maintain Data Tracking Systems to provide weekly analytics for cases that have been processed.
• Communicate with different levels of administrators including Principals, Executive Directors and District departments such as Human Capital Management to gather and report information.
• Utilize different District Systems such as Oracle, Power School, My Data Portal for case fact finding and report writing.
• Ensure cases involving Child Abuse Reporting have been done within the requirements set forth by TEA guidelines which would require collaboration with the District Child Abuse Office and a thorough understanding of Child Abuse reporting with the Texas Department of Family Protective Services.
• Maintain an extensive community network and excellent community relations programs throughout the district and the public at large; coordinate and conduct meetings, sessions, seminars, orientations, and departmental training; keep abreast of technical, legislative, and professional trends and developments affecting the department’s target population.
• Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned. Provide excellent customer service to employees by responding to telephone, email, and in-person inquiries to assist with Professional Standards Office-related topics, while remaining impartial and confidential.
