Job summary

You will develop and apply policies, manage investigations, and support accreditation and audits, all while protecting client confidentiality and data integrity. Required are an Associate Degree in Human Services, 5 years in related settings, and strong data analysis and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in a setting overseen by relevant NY State agencies.
• 2 years of quality assurance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for Vanderheyden’s services.
• Maintains and applies knowledge of internal policies, procedures, systems, and practices.
• Manages investigations: collect evidence, review docs, conduct interviews, collaborate with external investigators, write reports.
• Maintains confidentiality in investigations and personnel information per regulations and policies.
• Ensures incident reports are thorough and followed up when needed.
• Identifies trends through data analysis and remediates negative trends.
• Visits program sites for announced/unannounced audits and internal checks.
• Prioritizes duties to meet deadlines and minimize program disruption.
• Prepares for accreditation surveys and state oversight audits and external reviews.
• Participates in inter-/intra-agency work groups to improve systems and service delivery.
• Seeks training opportunities for self and others.
• Attends required meetings and trainings; adheres to the Sanctuary Model.
• Incorporates trauma-informed perspective into operations; supports ad hoc teams as needed.
