Job summary

Villa of Hope in Rochester, NY seeks a Compliance and Incident Specialist to assist in driving quality improvement through incident monitoring, investigation coordination and training. You will help ensure compliance with state agencies and Justice Center reporting while upholding the Sanctuary Model of Care.

The role supports program leadership, conducts trainings, and coordinates investigations, with travel within NYS as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related human service field preferred.
• Experience with OCFS, OMH, OASAS, or SED systems required.
• Therapeutic Crisis Intervention experience highly preferred.
• Knowledge of State funding streams and accreditation.
• Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Exercises full compliance with the Agency’s Code of Conduct, all Agency Policies and Procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality and security for all client and staff related materials and/or records.
• Monitors internal and external incident management databases, reports, policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, State oversight agencies, Justice Center and accrediting bodies.
• Manages and/or conducts internal and external investigations of allegations of abuse and neglect. Document results in agency format, reviews with appropriate department leaders or committees and reports investigation findings.
• Coordinate, monitor, and support general activities related to incidents, investigations and risk management issues. Assist in development and implementation of quality assurance procedures and systems for the department.
• Conduct onboarding and quarterly Mandated Reporter and Incident Management trainings. Facilitate additional meetings and/or trainings related to incident management, review, and prevention as needed.
