Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Human Services or similar field required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in settings overseen by OCFS/OPWDD/SED/NYS Justice Center, or similar.
• 2 years of experience with quality assurance activities in the above settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and internal policies.
• Manages investigations including collecting evidence, reviewing documentation, interviewing, and writing reports.
• Maintains confidentiality across investigations and personnel in accordance with regulations.
• Prepares for accreditation surveys, state oversight audits, and external reviews.
• Participates in inter- and intra-agency work groups to improve systems and service delivery.
