This position is responsible for the overall successful delivery of the administration and compliance of the terms of the franchising agreements and related documents for each of the franchising brands within Anywhere Brands. The Compliance Manager – Franchise Contracts will lead efforts in executing processes, procedures, and accountability standards associated with franchise compliance. The successful candidate will be a sharp, energetic, and focused individual who is motivated to achieve results and possesses the highest levels of integrity at all times.
This role is 100% remote.
Requirements
- Oversee and ensure adherence to compliance requirements outlined in franchise agreements, related documents, and company policies. This role involves reviewing, analyzing, and monitoring contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and mitigate risk.
- Develop, implement, and maintain contract compliance policies, procedures, and overall communications.
- Maintain and automate contract compliance activities, generating comprehensive reports for management.
- Monitor franchise compliance performance and adherence to franchise agreement terms.
- Lead and execute project meetings to communicate internal and supplier updates.
- Provide training and guidance on contract compliance best practices.
- Stay up to date with industry regulations, laws, and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Build brand awareness within and across ecosystems.
- Work closely with franchisees, brand representatives, and shared services groups to resolve issues.
- Review and sign off on franchise compliance documentation.
- Ensure ecosystem participants (customers and internal staff) follow contract administration policies and procedures.
- Oversee and manage direct reports, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure team effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
- Assist VP in facilitating communication within and across ecosystems.
- Assist in the day-to-day work activities when needed.
- Act as a first point of contact with issue escalation, alerting appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
- Review performance of ecosystem, including team members and process outputs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in operational or contract management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
- Ability to identify skill sets and deploy resources effectively.
- Strong management, leadership, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- 3 to 5 years of contract management, operational, or business management experience.
- A background in franchising, familiarity with contract administration activities, real estate, and good analytical skills are advantageous.
- B.S./B.A. in Business Administration, Operations, or related discipline.
