Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Compliance Engineer in Ohio to ensure products, processes, and facilities meet regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements. You will support audits and drive continuous improvement for Thermal Labs certification across sites.

The role partners with Engineering and Labs teams to manage product certifications, conduct compliance testing, and prepare regulatory documentation. You will work with agencies like UL, Intertek, CSA, ANCE, and NYCE, and mentor technician teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 3+ years of regulatory experience.
• Experience working with certification and test agencies (UL, Intertek, CSA, ANCE, NYCE).
• Experience in R&D testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 3+ years of compliance or regulatory experience.
• Minimum of 2-3 years' in similar role.
• Analytical in order to review product information.
• Experience working with certification and test agencies such as, UL, Intertek, CSA, ANCE, NYCE, or similar
• Experience in R&D testing.
• Leadership from any seat; demonstrated ability to give direction to Technician team(s) & communicate test issues to all levels of management.
• Excellent communication skills with broad stakeholders and in various styles, with a professional attitude towards customer relations.
• Self-directed, good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Interpersonal skills.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Ability to work in lab, manufacturing, and office environments

Time Travel Needed:

10-15% Regionally, on occasion
