Kokua Education seeks a Senior Manager of Compliance & Employee Relations to lead screening, credentialing, and policy controls across a multi-state workforce. The role focuses on safeguarding students, ensuring rapid, compliant responses to ER matters, and coordinating with leadership on risk and investigations.

The role also drives the compliance program for the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, leaves, accommodations, and separation, with emphasis on audit readiness and scalable

Formación

• 6+ years of progressive HR, employee relations, or compliance experience.
• Experience implementing multi-state compliance programs in a distributed workforce.
• Strong knowledge of employment practices across multiple U.S. jurisdictions.
• Ability to manage investigations and partner with leadership on risk and policy changes.

Responsabilidades

• Educator clearance, screening, credentialing, and reporting compliance across states.
• Lead employee relations investigations, documentation, and recommendations.
• Own the compliance framework for the full employee lifecycle and audit readiness.
• Partner with HRBPs to address compliance/risk while maintaining business relationships.
• Support new market launches with readiness checklists and regulatory alignment.
• Provide risk guidance and reporting on ER health, policies, and training.
