Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a data visualization professional to design and maintain Tableau dashboards supporting the REA Program’s regulatory compliance and risk oversight. You will work with REA, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Data Analytics, and Technology to transform data into actionable insights.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data modeling, and high-quality reporting across multiple data sources, including SQL Server and data warehouses. A strong banking data background is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Systems, analytics, CS, or related field required.
• At least 2 years of data analysis and reporting experience in risk/compliance contexts.
• Strong SQL skills with complex joins, aggregations, and performance tuning.
• Experience handling big data, data warehouses, and data retrieval.
• Exposure to banking products and transactional/customer data.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Tableau Desktop/Server and Excel for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and self-service reports for risk monitoring and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable analytics.
• Analyze data to identify trends, outliers, and root causes of issues.
• Develop data models and visualization standards to support regulatory reporting and risk assessments.
• Ensure data accuracy via validation, reconciliation, and QA processes.
• Optimize Tableau workbooks for performance and usability.
• Connect Tableau to SQL Server, cloud data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Create documentation, data dictionaries, and training materials.
• Support audits, regulatory exams, and management inquiries related to compliance reporting.
