Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a Compliance Coordinator I within the Division of Research and Academic Compliance. You will execute audit plans to identify compliance risks, analyze issues, and present findings to management.

Responsibilities include staff interviews, policy reviews, and preparing formal audit reports with actionable recommendations. You will conduct research on federal/state laws affecting research and academics, train stakeholders on results, and assist in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare or academic compliance.
• Certification such as CHC, CITI, CCRP, or CCRC within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Execute audit plans addressing compliance risks in research and academia.
• Identify control issues; propose practical improvements balancing risk and cost.
• Prepare work papers, schedules, and audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Present findings to Chairs, Chiefs and Department Administrators; train staff on audit results.
• Conduct research on federal/state laws impacting MCW research and academics.
