Job summary

Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company is seeking a Compliance & Audit Analyst to enhance the internal control environment and audit readiness, focusing on government contracting compliance. The role supports control testing, audit preparation, and remediation of findings in a scaling, transparent organization.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in audit/compliance, strong documentation skills, and familiarity with FAR/CAS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in audit, compliance, internal controls, or related area.
• Solid understanding of internal control concepts and audit processes.
• Public accounting or internal audit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, documentation, and testing of the internal control framework.
• Prepare for and support external, internal, and government audits (incl. DCAA).
• Compile audit documentation and coordinate responses to auditor requests.
• Monitor compliance with FAR, CAS, and agency-specific requirements.
• Perform floor checks and timekeeping compliance reviews.
• Assist with unallowable cost reviews and supporting documentation.
• Track audit findings and remediation progress.
• Draft, update, and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments and support process improvements.
