Tyson & Mendes, a leading national law firm, is seeking a Complex Trial Paralegal to support attorneys in multi-party civil litigation, catastrophic personal injury, and construction defect matters. You will manage discovery, trial preparation, and client communications while collaborating with a top-tier team of trial attorneys.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification required.
• 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience in California litigation is highly encouraged.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation, rules, and deadlines.
• High proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with discovery: interrogatories, requests for admissions, production requests, subpoenas, and deposition binders.
• Manage trial preparation: coordinate witnesses/travel, exhibits, trial notebooks, and hearing binders.
• Review and organize medical records and calculate damages (medical expenses, lost wages, property damage).
• Collaborate with colleagues and maintain clear client communications.
• Communicate case status with clients, experts, and attorneys.
