Job summary

Globalchannelmanagement in New York invites an experienced professional to join its long tail claim consulting unit. You will drive recoveries for corporate clients facing high-value complex liability challenges within our practice.

Responsibilities include negotiating with carriers, reviewing legacy policies, researching historic programs, and managing end-to-end insurer communications. A background in mass tort and asbestos-related claims is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years evaluating coverage on multi-year claims at insurers, law firms, or archaeology firms.
• Direct history with mass tort and long-tail claims (Asbestos, Toxic Tort, Environmental/Pollution).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Core Responsibilities

• Negotiation: Secure insurance recoveries and loss allocations directly from carriers and adjusters.
• Policy Mapping:Review legacy insurance policy documents to build coverage charts and track payments.
• Insurance Archaeology:Research and reconstruct historic multi-year corporate insurance programs.
• Claim Management: Own the end-to-end insurer communication workflow, including notice, tender, and cost-share agreements.

REQUIRES

• Experience: 5 to 10+ years evaluating coverage on multi-year claims at an insurer, law firm, or insurance archaeology firm.
• Core Skills: Long tail claim, Complex Liability Practice, Risk Management Solutions.
• Domain Expertise:Direct history with mass tort and long-tail claims (Asbestos, Toxic Tort, Environmental/Pollution).
