Job summary

Columbia Hospitality seeks a Complex General Manager for Hotel Leo and Heliotrope Hotel in Bellingham, WA. You will oversee all departments, drive profitability, and manage group sales, community relations, and strategic operations.

This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a track record of operational excellence. The position offers a salary range of $100,000–$110,000 with an incentive plan, paid time off, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive GM experience at a property of similar size and service level

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction and leadership for all departments at each property
• Lead group sales outreach, negotiations, and service
• Liaise with community organizations, city officials and industry groups
• Ensure policies and procedures are implemented across departments
• Assist in annual budget and financial plan preparation
• Set and monitor operating goals and budget adherence
• Develop pricing policies and monitor expenses
• Drive profitability and revenue strategies
• Oversee reports and asset protection programs
• Respond to guest feedback and implement service improvements
• Represent the property in the local community and with partners
• Recruit, train, and develop staff; conduct performance reviews
• Provide ongoing training on standards and responsibilities
